The problem this work addresses
This work asks why a leap is necessary and what civilization must change. Starting from real risks in the AGI era, it moves through pre-institutional language and Civilization Leap toward civilizational continuity and the emergence of meaning. Continued existence is civilization’s baseline; freedom from anxiety about basic survival, happiness in life, and a life richer in meaning unfold in that order.
