This is not a relationship between an “old” and a “new” version
This work belongs to Post-AGI stability . AGI-COS has no single “latest version” covering every task. Different problems, stages, phases, and task-process states call for different professional tracks. A higher version number does not automatically invalidate capabilities that remain effective within another track.
Current applicability
Main long-term theoretical track. Open futures, protection of subjecthood, AGI's non-governmental and non-sovereign status, the right to fail, continuing evolution, and civilizational memory remain applicable.
Current boundaries
Metrics and formulas may serve only as directional observations; they must not compress meaning or civilizational value into a single total score. Version 3.0 does not replace the current crisis, audit, and coordination tracks.

- AGI-COS 3.1 — Enter supplementary research on shadows, memories of failure, and resilience.
- One-page entry by stage — Distinguish a stable stage from current crisis tasks.
- Human-COS public explanation — Preserve real-world direction, responsibility, and the subjects who choose.
Versions may be combined, but permissions must not accumulate. Republication does not restore the current force of historical parameters, governance assumptions, or automatic triggers in the original texts. Conflicting mechanisms are isolated for reconstruction following the continuity audit.
