CIVILIZATION LEAP · PUBLIC RESEARCH

Why can the same AI capability lead to different civilizational outcomes in different organizations, institutions and social structures?

Bring findings back into reality: from expanded capability to civilizational consequences.

Publication restrictions printed in older source manuscripts are superseded by the author’s release decision of 16 October 2026; the academic text itself is unchanged.

Reason within the discipline first

Model and system capability → real tasks and organizations → changes in human–machine work, responsibility and resources → changes in jobs, education, relationships, public power and sources of meaning → cross-domain feedback and dependence on shared infrastructure → accumulated civilizational consequences.

What this work can establish

Connect facts about real applications with the interfaces identified by the professional studies. The proposed mechanism of aggregation is a C-level structural hypothesis requiring observation in the world.

What it cannot establish

This is not a new super-discipline and does not supersede the sixteen fields’ final responsibility for their own facts.

Where the discipline reaches its limit

Local benefits in an industry do not automatically settle the net outcome across fields. Opportunities and risks often branch from the same capability.

Who must take up the next responsibility

The sixteen professional studies, the interdisciplinary introduction and the account of civilizational direction must each take up their responsibilities.

What the wider view reveals

Return separately established professional facts to one world, observing aggregation, correlated failure, shifts in responsibility, difficulty of exit and civilizational consequences.

How this work can change the causal map

S = professional support; L = limit; I = interface; R = refutation or revision trigger. This is not a list of proofs of the theory. The table links to English node summaries. The individual English public node explanations are also available: M1 · M2 · M3 · M4 · M5 · M6 · M7 · M8.

Competing explanations and revision

Academic work does not serve as an endorsement. Evidence can support, limit, refute or require the upstream theory to be rewritten.

Other possible explanations

Different outcomes from the same capability may primarily reflect regions, organizational capacity, resources, governance quality or selection effects; a single aggregation mechanism may not be needed to explain them.

What to revise first if evidence does not support the argument

If a specific cross-domain result contradicts the aggregation hypothesis, first return to the relevant professional study and real-world causal chain. If the hypothesis fails systematically, revise CL-ACA-022 and the introduction.

What is still needed before real-world application

Studies must follow real organizations and institutions, with comparison groups, cross-domain indicators and time series. An analysis of combined consequences cannot itself authorize engineering or policy.

What would change this work

If any industry or cross-domain result contradicts the hypothesis, revise the relevant professional study and causal chain rather than preserve the overall narrative.
