Under some conditions, prices and markets may aggregate dispersed information, preferences and contributions more effectively than alternatives. New distribution systems may create more rent-seeking and inefficiency.

What to revise first if evidence does not support the account

Narrow claims of proxy distortion if prices and returns remain closely aligned with real contributions and social welfare under AGI. If alternatives perform worse, revise the institutional proposals as well.

What is still needed before practical application

Economic evidence cannot directly determine personal worth, basic rights or civilizational goals. Distribution systems also require rights, governance and practical trials.
